Is Egypt safe to visit?

Yes. Egypt is a well-established tourist destination and millions of people visit safely every year. The main tourist areas — Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada — are actively protected and well-serviced. We stay current on conditions, plan routes carefully, and our guides handle the practical safety details throughout your trip.

What languages do your guides speak?

English and Arabic fluently. We work primarily with English-speaking travelers from the US, UK, Europe, Canada and Australia. If you need a guide for another language, let us know when you inquire — we can sometimes arrange it.

Are all tours private?

Yes — always. We never mix groups or sell seats on shared departures. Your tour is yours: your itinerary, your pace, your guide. That’s the core of what Nileroute offers.

How much do tours cost?

Prices vary by duration, number of travelers, and which sites you want to visit. We give you a transparent quote upfront with no hidden fees. Message us with your details and we’ll send a clear price within the day. Day tours generally start from a few hundred USD for a private party; multi-day packages vary more widely.

Can the itinerary be customised?

Yes — that’s exactly the point. Tell us what matters to you: specific sites, extra time somewhere, a dietary requirement, a slow morning, a market visit. We plan around your priorities, not a fixed template.

When is the best time to visit Egypt?

October through April is the most comfortable period — cooler temperatures, especially in Upper Egypt (Luxor and Aswan). December and January are the most popular months. May through September is hot, particularly in the south, but tours still run and prices are lower. We can advise based on exactly when you’re planning to travel.
